Whirley-DrinkWorks! is looking for a Truck Driver! The hours for this position are 6am-6pm.



JOB SUMMARY

Transports, stores, pulls, loads and unloads products required for workshops, printing/assembly needs or stock replenishment.
 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operates company box trucks. Completes Vehicle Maintenance. Cleans cargo bay and cab upon completion of operation/shift. Completes Daily Truck Trip Log Sheet
  • Transports all materials between warehouses to meet production needs. Properly stores materials in warehouses.
  • Operates powered industrial trucks, sit down and walk ride to move materials to and from locations.
  • Operates radio frequency (RF) scans to maintain accurate inventory levels and storage locations.
  • Maintains inventory of supply items
    QUALIFICATIONS

·High school diploma or equivalent

·Must possess valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record

·One to two years forklift experience preferred

·Must demonstrate ability to read, write and operate simple office equipment

·Computer and math skills required

·Must pay strict attention to detail

  • DOT certification required

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Prolonged sitting, walking, standing
  • Lifting and moving of 45lbs.
  • Prolonged exposure to heat or cold when loading/unloading trailers
  • Loading of numerous boxes full length of trailer
  • Good manual dexterity and color discrimination
 
SPECIAL REQUIREMENT:
Failure to maintain an acceptable driving record could result in job loss or reassignment.  Drivers with unacceptable driving records would include those with one or more of the following violations:
 
·    Conviction for an alcohol and/or drug related driving offense
·    Refusal to submit to a Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) test
·    Conviction for reckless driving
·    Any combination of three or more moving violations, "At Fault Accidents", or "Preventable Accidents" within the most recent three years
·    Suspension, revocation or administrative restriction within the last three years
·    Leaving the scene of an accident as defined by state laws
·    At fault in a fatal accident
·    Felony committed involving a vehicle
