Whirley-DrinkWorks! is looking for a Production Sanitation Associate! The hours for this position are Monday - Friday, 3:00pm - 11:30pm


JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for the overall cleanliness of Production Equipment inside and out, Areas, Floors, Mats, etc. per designated Zone Areas at the Harmar Facility, assures that completion of tasks meet established health and sanitation standards, documents the use of housekeeping supplies, documents SQF required documentation, complies with all ASI/SQF requirements.



DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Communicates distribution and use of housekeeping-related products and supplies, SQF documentation, as instructed by the Sanitation Manager and in accordance with established tracking forms.
  • Participates in and ensures health and sanitation for all TeamMates by using the proper disinfecting cleaners on any human contact surface such as conveyors, carousels, etc.
  • Collects recyclable materials (excluding manufactured plastic products from Whirley), such as copy paper, computer paper, magazines, soda cans, soda bottles, glass, tins cans, and broken pallet debris, as required daily.
  • Cleans and disinfects the production equipment and areas daily in accordance to the established job safety quality analysis.
  • Cleans and disinfects the production equipment and areas daily in accordance to the established procedures and documents.
  • Must be able to work different hours or do extra duties when requested.
  • Reports general building maintenance related issues to the Maintenance Department or the Sanitation Coordinator by utilizing the voicemail system, job request forms, or direct communication with the Sanitation Manager.
  • Sweeps, mops and scrubs floor surfaces
  • Maintains a trash compactor log and notifies the Safety Coordinator when needing emptied.
  • Responsible for the quality workmanship in the areas of duties.
  • Maintains the super structure of the building, keeping it cobweb and bug-free.
  • Makes sanitation a day-to-day practice by ensuring that the guidelines for "Manufacturers of Food Package" (ASI) are followed as a matter of routine.
  • Complies with all policies, and safety regulations, establishes good sanitation practices
  • Operates all equip,emt in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations

QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to read or write
  • Working knowledge of common sanitation equipment
  • Able to work in teams or alone with little supervision


Physical Demands
  • Prolonged standing and walking
  • Prolonged reaching, stretching, bending, pushing and pulling involving the use of equipment and tools
