JOB SUMMARY
The  Marketing Communications Specialist is responsible for fulfilling key marketing communications functions including understanding Marketing Strategy for B2B, creating Marketing Calendars to support Sales Channels, website management, writing copy and engaging Customers with Inbound/Outbound content, and creating custom presentations. This can involve researching, developing, executing and monitoring Channels, social platforms, marketing campaigns, channel blogs, Trend Watching, and programs in support of marketing campaigns.  For all of these activities the MARCOM Specialist is very involved with driving initial planning efforts, creating content and managing through to project completion with strong team partnering skills and ability to work in a fast paced environment.  This position reports to the VP of Marketing.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing Campaign Management - Responsible for creation, management, execution and tracking of results for lead generation for Channel Campaigns via HubSpot Marketing Automation. Representative duties may include:
• Manages varied and unique sales and marketing efforts by creating, executing, maintaining, and reporting campaigns 
• Leads in strategy sessions surrounding campaigns and develops or identifies new marketing automation concepts or ideas
• Works with key stakeholders to transform sales and marketing requirements, content, and creative pieces into highly effective and successful campaigns
• Performs campaign development tasks, including creation of campaign canvases, emails, landing pages, Sales Tools templates, and web form templates
• Manages the development, review, and approval of all campaign assets
• Analyzes and creates list segments and distribution lists for campaigns

Channel Marketing - Responsible for leading the Marketing Calendar plan development, campaign planning/execution, and content development. Coordinates Channel Mgrs., Art Dept., Product Development and other departments to execute the channel projects and campaigns.  Representative duties may include:
• Creates presentations for Channel Managers, Sales Reps etc. to aid in the selling process
• Creates and executes a calendar of communications following specific selling seasons and overall campaigns
• Develops creative and effective content for catalogs, email blasts, presentations and other sales literature 

Social Media Engagement – Responsible for engaging Sales Team and customers with targeted and relevant social media (Twitter and LinkedIn) postings and content including research of industry publication. Representative duties may include:
• Manages LinkedIn, Twitter, company page posting, blog  and other social media platforms to engage customers
• Oversees online traffic management including web, email and social media
•Creates excitement around trade shows and events.
• Analyzes and recommends and executes improvements to marketing campaigns based on  website, social media, email analytics

Brand Management –Integrating and managing brand across all communication vehicles to project consistent message and image that reflects our company’s vision and positioning strategies.
• Creating professional and attractive content and layout for website, social media platforms, literature etc.
• Manages and leads the layout and image of tradeshow setups to ensure the consistent and positive image of Whirley-DrinkWorks!
• Produces new and attractive content and imagery that represents the company to internal and external  customers

Annual Marketing Plan:  Assist in planning, development and budget process for annual Marketing plan and channel marketing calendar activities executed to the right selling seasons.

Tradeshows/Industry Events: Partner with Sales/Channel Manager leader to determine show/event/meeting strategy and creative deliverables.

Content Development: Understand Buyers Journey and Personas to create solution driven and relevant company and channel content to drive engagement and lead generation. Includes writing white papers and tracking industry insights and trends.



QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications
• 3 - 5 years of significant involvement in an integrated marketing communications role, preferably with a B2B company
• Specific current experience in working with a CRM (eg. Maximizer, Salesforce) and Marketing Automation platform (eg. Callidus)
• Ability to understand target audiences, their needs and design programs that motivate, and engage users and produce measurable results.
• Above average proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Adobe Creative Suite: Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Team Player - ability to work with and lead groups in the completion of various assignments.
• Excellent communication skills both written and oral
• Ability to develop and give stand-up presentations to diverse audiences. 
• Good project management and organizational skills.
• Strong follow-through abilities, self-motivated, and ability to work with limited supervision.
• Preferred marketing automation platform experience (i.e. Hubspot)
• Preferred social media creation and management (Twitter, LinkedIn)
